Thermal water

In 1964, a hydrocarbon exploration drilling near the village of Mesteri uncovered a thermal water source. Based on this discovery, the village is now home to a small, family-friendly thermal spa, offering complete relaxation and rejuvenation through various accommodation options such as Thermal Hotel Mesteri, Thermal Camping, and the newest and most unique attraction: Thermal Villa Park Mesteri.

At the Thermal Villa Park, guests can unwind in private thermal water tubs located on the covered terraces of their apartments — enjoying carefree relaxation while supporting their health and well-being.

The spa is supplied by 72°C thermal water, emerging from a depth of 1,800 meters. The water belongs to the calcium–magnesium–hydrogen carbonate category of thermal waters — traditionally referred to in Hungarian as "alkaline earth" (földes-meszes) waters.

With more than 30 years of experience, the water has proven to be highly beneficial for musculoskeletal and rheumatic conditions. Its high carbon dioxide content also provides positive effects for circulatory disorders.

One of the most notable features of the spa area as a recreational destination is its rich and lush plant life, contributing to a peaceful natural setting.
