Nestled at the foot of the wild and romantic Hercseg Hill, in the resort village of Sitke near Sárvár, our unique and discreet guesthouses offer a peaceful rural retreat. As Hungary’s first historical apartment park, Colonia Natura opened its gates in 2013. Over the years, we have created five independent houses, each with a distinctive atmosphere inspired by the Roman era — a nod to the ancient settlement of Bassiana that once stood where Sitke is today. Situated on nearly half a hectare of natural surroundings, our eco-conscious accommodation is ideal whether you're seeking complete tranquility or active countryside adventures.
Cuddle up inside your guesthouse or unwind on the terrace — it’s the perfect place to reconnect with your partner or deepen your bond in nature’s embrace.
Our apartments also serve as a perfect starting point for discovering the cultural, natural, historical, and architectural treasures of Sárvár and the Ság Hill region — on foot or by bike. Within a 15 km radius, you’ll find four thermal baths (Sárvár, Mesteri, Celldömölk, Borgáta), each offering a unique wellness experience. Two major hiking trails run near the guesthouses: the National Blue Trail and the Pilgrim’s Way of Mary (Mária Zarándokút).
Just next door, Ság Hill is a true geological gem. As Hungary’s youngest volcano, it offers a scenic and accessible trail into its ancient crater. At its base lies the relaxing Mesteri Thermal Bath and the stylish apartments of Thermal Villapark Mesteri — perfect for post-hike relaxation.
We’re happy to provide local tips, activity recommendations, or even organize tailor-made experiences (Gladiatorium) for you — including right here at our apartment park. After a hike, you can enjoy our private wooden hot tub, taking in panoramic views of the fruit orchards, vineyards, and nearby volcanic hills of Hercseg and Ság.
